responsibility in linworth
Being a proud linworth student, i think that the linworth community has gone down hill. earlyer today i was in my WOW (walking onto wellness) class. in the class we walk down to antrum lake and around it once, then back. today Char brought up the fact that someone (they shall remain namless) called a friend from thomas and told them to meet her at the lake and drive her back to linworth. this was by far one of the most "bullshit" things i have herd about at linworth so far (no matter what jackson ludin can whipp up). this actualy goes along with the laptop thing. I hope that people who know there person will give them crap for it and possibly prevent things like this from happening.
expectations
i believe that the most important thing to any relationship is respect. if you can't respect them the just GTFO of them. and if you can't respect other people then don't expect to get it back.
laptops
I personally think that the idea of using computers for things other than school work can go either way (don't do it Jen). for me i usualy use Jacob Giron's laptop for a pregram called Phun, its a phisics program that josh jacob and myself have taken interest in. this program is somewhat educational and it shows you how weight , angels, gravity, and size of your catipult matters. most of the time when i use the coputer i don't have much homework or anything more productive i can do at the time so i don't see how it could cause much of a problem but, if i were to have a shiot load of larry homework due next class and it was on it i would have no problem if a teacher came up to me and "asked" me to get off the damn computer. now, i think that the teachers like Mark , Larry , Ron, and many others should take a more inderect aproch to it (more like what larry does AFTER freshman year). If Larry sees' a student that always does his/her work hes not going to do anything. for an example, the other day Jacob and Dylan were playing Empire Earth of the computer and Larry walked up started watching and pretty much walked away. now, he decides how to deal with a student on how well they can keep up and get work in on time. i think that most teachers should take this aproch to work because it seems to be the most fair and just to all of the students.
